Sandwich Zone

20141015:
Today I went to Sandwich Zone for the first time and ordered Richard's Dagwood Sandwich. I kept the mayo and cheese today, just to see how it would taste.

Overall, the contribution of cheese went unnoticed and I definitely tasted the mayo, but I didn't find it critical to the taste of the sandwich.

Some edges of bread were too crunchy and I discarded them whenever there wasn't any meat in the bite. 2:10PM PT

Menu Description:
Richard's Dagwood Sandwich Turkey, bacon, avocado, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar, on toasted sweet French roll.

Reuben

20141107:
This is my second visit to Sandwich Zone, and today I got the Reuben.

My favorite part of the Reuben is the sauerkraut. Eating this today reminds me of a roast beef sandwich from the cafe on Homewood Campus at Johns Hopkins (Baltimore, Maryland). However, if memory serves me correctly, that had a lot more meat in it.

While more meat would have been great, there's no dispute that it was still a good sandwich. I thought the portion was moderately sized.
