20110109: (Dinner)
This is one of the restaurants which I remember to go when I go home during winter vacation. What you go to this restaurant for is the rice plates. There are various choices of meats and sides you can have on your dish and what I get varies from time to time. I believe the cost of the dishes are calculated by item, so besides the orders you can make that are already listed on the menu, you can make your own order.
Today (20110109) I got Com Tam Tau Hu Ky Thit Nuong, which is Broken Rice with Shrimp Muosseline in Tofu Paper & BBQ pork. I do recommend getting the Tau Hu Ky (Shrimp Mousseline) if you come here: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, tasty shrimp.
The menu is in Vietnamese and in English.
I don't really know of other places with broken rice dishes, but my family usually takes me here, and it is good.

Crepe Corner
20110101:

20110625:
Crepe Skin : Crunchy | Fruits : Peach | Spreads : Nutella | Ice Cream : Strawberry
The crunchy skin was good. Although some of the ice cream or peach juice seeped out the bottom and that was a little messy. I should remember to keep napkins at the bottom of the paper that holds the crepe.
I forgot to mention that Josh and I got there before closing, 11 pm, but it looked like they were closed. Fortunately, they were just preparing to close and one of the employees happily opened the door. The other employee there didn't look as pleased, but the happy employee insisted they were still open and that the crepe pans were still warm.
