20110521:
Our group was big and we split up into two tables. Our table shared an appetizer. I believe it was the baba ghanouj. The website currently (20110813) lists its price at $7.50.
We definitely didn't have the hummus, because I don't like the taste of chickpeas, along with many other legumes.
Then I was looking for a main course with lamb. I had my eye on one dish, but the waiter recommended the mouzat. I went with that, along with three or four others at our table. I recall it was delicious.
For a beverage, I ordered the Almaza Pilsener, a Lebanese beer.
Menu Description:
Baba Ghanouj Baked eggplant blended with tahini, fresh lemon juice and a hint of fresh garli 7.50
Menu Description:
Mouzat A lamb shank baked in a tomato stew with Mama’s secret spices served with rice and green beans 18.00

The Owl Bar
20101202:
Arash, his roommate Reza, Sinan, and I went out to The Owl Bar for some drinks and pizza. I definitely needed this, since I had taken and passed my oral exam earlier that day. We ordered two pizzas: steak pizza (Griddle-fried steak, imported pepperoni, mushrooms, and mozzarella. $15.99) and crab dip pizza (Tasty crab dip, mozzarella cheese, and Old Bay. $16.99). As far as I can remember, this was the first time I had crab dip pizza. It was delicious.

It was the last day of climbing for a while, so Mark, Chenyang, and I decided to go out of our way to get some good food. We ordered two pizzas: steak pizza (Griddle-fried steak, imported pepperoni, mushrooms, and mozzarella. $15.99) and the Georgian (Fresh peach wedges, bacon, and goat cheese. $13.99). At first I thought the Georgian was too cheesy, but I ended up liking it better than the steak pizza.
I got two beers and each beer cost $5: Snakebite (Guinness and HardCore Cider) // Oliver's Irish Red
After we finished, we first walked to Penn Station, but instead of waiting for the next shuttle, we decided to walk home. It wasn't as far a walk as I had imagined.

20121207:
Today I went with my friends to the Owl Bar. Looking at the menu, it seems their pizza menu has changed since I was last here. As such, I ordered the Ahi Tuna BLT. To drink I ordered a beer named Old Man Winter Ale.
I also split an appetizer with my friend Chris.
I wrote: "The fried green tomatoes were alright. I liked Jordan's portobello fries with truffle aioli much better."
Admittedly, I wanted to try the dish because I never had it before and I had once watched a movie titled Fried Green Tomatoes (1991).
Of my entree, I wrote: "The sweet potato fries here are delicious, though perhaps slightly dependent on the ketchup. The batch of potatoes I got tasted overdone without the ketchup. The ahi came out rare as requested and tasted delicious. The bacon was also delicious and its texture contrasts with the ahi's texture wonderfully." 8:28PM ET
Menu Description:
Ahi Tuna BLT Seared Ahi, Bacon, Avocado, Sriracha Aioli {12}

Papa John's Pizza
[20111214]
I've definitely had Papa John's Pizza many times before. The first time I remember having it was in 10th grade after a cross country practice. Of course I don't remember the pizza; instead I remember the garlic sauce.
20110512:
Getting food is an amazing relief while grading final exams.

No more cream puffs! Ridiculous! Somebody from our group ordered the last of them. Next time, I order those cream puffs first!
