I sampled the coconut flavor. It had coconut chunks in it. It was tasty.

Butterscotch and Pina Colada

The hazelnut flavor tasted like chocolate.

My sister liked the mascarpone flavor.

I liked the cheesecake flavor. My sister liked it, too.

I didn't like the cinnamon. It tasted like Big Red chewing gum.

The butterscotch tasted nice and sweet. We also got pina colada. 8:02PM ET

The pina colada was delicious, but only in small quantities.

The single strawberry was more disappointing than the salted caramel top. The cheesecake from Junior's was much tastier, because it was richer and was more dense.

I tried peach. It was delicious. It tasted like peach yogurt.

The caramel popcorn tasted just like caramel.

The salted caramel was tasty.

Unfortunately, one of the flavors gave me a reaction on my tongue.* I would guess it was probably the salted caramel flavor, because once I had a similar feeling* after tasting salted caramel ice cream. This time, however, the reaction was more agitating. 6:47 PM ET

*I would likely now (20200116) refer to this as a tingling sensation.

We ordered #18 (Chive & Pork Boiled Dumplings), #43 (Peck Duck w. Vermicelli), #36 (Vegetable Noodle Soup), #24 (Shrimp Boiled Dumplings), and #45 (Dumplings w. Vermicelli). The pork dumplings were alright. The boiled shrimp dumplings were flavorless in comparison. The shrimp dumplings were also somehow much hotter (temperature). Note, however, that many customers come in and get the fried dumplings. 12:23PM ET

I was trying to identify which location we went to and had a little trouble. Eventually I was able to track it down by identifying some surrounding features and verifying one of the features which seemed to have changed by going back in time (via Google Maps). The feature in question is a column that used to read "Junior's | MOST FABULOUS RESTAURANT | BROOKLYN NY" but now reads "Junior's | FAMOUS CHEESECAKE | JUNIORS."

After a bunch of Yelping, my family and I decided to go to El Vez.

I enjoy the taste of the shrimp enchilada.

The mahi mahi is crunchy and delicious. What a great soft taco.

I think I've been here once before, but I don't remember the experience. Today I ordered the chicken and steak kabob combo.

Perhaps hungry and focused on getting the food, I felt like the food took forever to prepare. To make matters worse, the smoke from the kitchen was getting into my eyes. Aren't they suppose to have a kitchen hood for ventilation or something? 7:30PM ET

I wrote: "The beef is burnt and a bit chewy. The chicken is good though. Well, actually its slightly salty. Overall, this place is just alright, nothing special." 7:57PM ET
