After doing some community service, several of us from the JHUMDC decided to go eat at Carma's Cafe.
To eat I had a Sirloin Panino.
Menu Description:
Sirloin Panino Cooked sirloin topped with your choice of cheese and a spicy garlic aioli. It's been called the best steak sandwich in town!
Afterwards, we went to Freshii for frozen yogurt.

Carma's Cafe sometimes feels a bit overpriced to me, but the food is generally good enough that I'm up for coming every now and then. I do like trying their specials. For example, today I ordered THE ZELDA.
Menu Description:
PANINO SPECIAL THE ZELDA Bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar, and swiss on sourdough
I recall liking it. Perhaps I'll try reproducing it on my own, except with a George Foreman Grill instead of a panini press. Though I'll have to wait until I visit my parents in California, because I don't have a George Foreman Grill of my own.

I'm not sure if I've ever had the Meatball Rocket at Carma's Cafe before, but I had it today and thought it was pretty good.

Meatball Rocket Italian meatballs, marinara sauce and melted provolone stuffed inside a ciabatta sub roll.

The other day my friend Mark told me that one can have ghost pepper cheese added to sandwiches here at Carma's Cafe. While I'm not big on spicy foods, I was definitely interested to try the cheese out. It is, however, interesting to note that while the cheese somehow includes ghost pepper, the cheese itself is not so spicy (given that ghost pepper was formerly the world's hottest chili pepper, according to Wikipedia.org it is now third hottest).
I wrote the following: "I got the Artichoke Tuna with ghost pepper cheese. It has a nice and easy spice to it. As always, the creamy tomato basil is delicious." 3:54PM ET
