Fried Corn Crusted Shrimp

After looking through the menu, I ordered the corn shrimp and jerk chicken & oxtail combo plate and Ada ordered the daily special, jerk snapper and shrimp.

Menu Description:
Fried Corn Crusted Shrimp with Pineapple Marmalade $9.25

The crunch of the corn shrimp was perfect and the marmalade-like sauce was a perfect combo.* I love it. 6:05PM PT

Jerk Chicken & Oxtail Combo Plate

Combo Plate #2: Jerk Chicken & Oxtail served with rice, beans & vegetables $16.95

When my order came out, it's smell reached my nose and I loved it. Unfortunately, the rice was too soft and mushy for my taste. Meanwhile, the oxtail was tasty, soft, and had a good balance of meat and fat. With that being said, there was an excessive amount of sauce and so it tasted a little salty. The chicken was also good, but I finished the oxtail first in case my fiancee wanted to eat more chicken.

I tried a piece of snapper and it was delicious. 6:23PM PT
