Now that I'm working in the Berkeley area, its time to start trying all the Berkeley food. Today, I went to a Chinese restaurant called Mayflower to order some food to go.
The first comment I have is that the bun for the steamed BBQ pork buns were slightly chewy. The meat itself was more or less standard tasting.
Despite the shrimp being sizable, the rice wrapping of the shrimp dumplings (har gow) is relatively thick. It can help to remove them from the container to reduce the amount of oil on them. 1:57PM PT
