Bun Mee

On my way home, I decided to stop in and order a sandwich from Bun Mee. Unfortunately, as cha lua (Vietnamese pork roll) wasn't available, I decided to order the grilled lemongrass pork sandwich. Fortunately, it was surprisingly good.
Among the ingredients, the mayo-based sauce tasted good, had an almost liquid consistently, and used sparingly.
While the sandwich had a modern taste, the pickled vegetables (carrot & daikon) would spark moments of authenticity in my brain.
In any case, the meat was good and the jalapenos helped retain the sandwich's heat. There was also a noticeable, yet reasonable, amount of pepper. 7:57PM PT
