I loved the gising gising. The server said it would be spicy, but aside from the jalapenos providing a little heat, the dish isn't spicy. Even biting into one of the chili peppers wasn't that bad.

Gising Gising (Green Beans in Coconut Milk)

Menu Description:
Gising Gising (Green Beans in Coconut Milk) Spicy chopped green beans and ground pork simmered in coconut milk. 10.99

Meanwhile, the fish was good, but not great. In particular, it was not meaty.

Daing na Bangus (Boneless Marinated Milkfish)

Menu Description:
Daing na Bangus (Boneless Marinated Milkfish) White fish indigenous to the Phillippines, made flavorful in a vinegar-garlic marinade, deep fried, and served with our house relish and Vinegar Garlic Dip on the side. 14.99

I had a couple spoonfuls of the garlic rice and found it good. If I weren't watching my carb intake, I would certainly eat more. On a related note, Ada and I could have gotten away with ordering just a cup of it instead of a plate.

Garlic Rice

Menu Description:
Chopsuey (Sauteed Vegetables) Chinese inspired assorted vegetables with shrimp, pork and chicken sauteed in our savory sauce. A popular dish. 10.99

Finally, chop suey had a healthy amount of veggies, which was the reason I ordered it.

Chopsuey (Sauteed Vegetables)

Overall, the gising gising was the best dish, and I would recommend it.
